residence.  The pieces were forged,
assembled, polished and finally treated
with heat from the forge fire to bring out
the bright colors, which is another
decorative feature of wrought iron.

textured on all external surfaces, hand

The Process

Left: A few of our custom hand made
brands.  These authentic recreations are
based on actual Spanish brands used by
the Catholic Church during the missionary
settling period of early Texas.  The end of
the handle is a socket to accept a wooden
handle.

Approximate size is 5 feet wide and 5 feet tall.  Hinged doors, randomly textured on all external
surfaces, hand forged handles, magnetic latch system, dark brown finish with copper, bronze
and turquoise patina highlights.  Fastened with solid iron button head rivets.  Screen is woven
#8 mesh.  The custom andirons pictured above can be seen behind the screen.

Approximate size of screen is 5 feet wide and 4 feet tall.  Hinged doors, randomly textured on
all external surfaces, hand forged handles, magnetic latch system, black painted finish with
burnished highlights.  Screen fastened with keepers and solid iron button head rivets.  Each
leaf and acorn was hand forged individually then attached to the branches.  Tree trunks were
built up from several pieces of steel and then textured.  Andirons shown above left in a
separate photo can be seen behind the screen with wood ashes remaining from initial use.
